Shaun Davis, CPA

Shaun M. Davis is the Managing Partner of S. Davis and Associates, PA, a privately held full service accounting firm headquartered in Hollywood, FL. He is a past Chair of the State of Florida Board of Accountancy and is a member of the Advisory Council to Florida State University School of Accounting. Mr. Davis has provided advice and counseling to numerous students interested in accounting and has assisted several new businesses with financial analysis, feasibility studies, and business plan development. He holds a degree in accounting from Florida State University.

Nwadiuto Esiobu, PhD

Dr. Esiobu is an Associate Professor of Microbiology in the Biological Sciences Department of FAU. She earned her doctoral degree in Microbiology from the University of Louvain in Ottignes, Belgium, and did post doctoral work in Molecular Biology & Biotechnology at MIT. Her professional instructional and research assignments include Adjunct professorships at Nova Southeastern, Barry University, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr. Esiobu's has published research in the areas of Environmental microbiology, drug resistance and antimicrobiosis. Her honors include Councilor, Regional Branch, American Society for Microbiology and UNESCO Award for Biotechnology research.

Dr. J. Preston Jones

Dr. J. Preston Jones is the Executive Associate Dean at Nova Southeastern University, H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business & Entrepreneurship. In his fourteen years at NSU, Dr. Jones has helped to lead the development of the Huizenga School's online distance learning education programs to business administration and accounting. He is also an accomplished professor with considerable experience in delivering face-to-face and online instruction to adult learners across the United States and around the world. Dr. Jones received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and earned Masters and Doctor of Business Administration at Nova Southeastern University.

Patricia E. McQueeney is Intellectual Property Counsel ("IP Counsel") for Learn.com, Inc. ("Learn.com"), a local company that provides on-demand learning automation software and services to individuals, companies, governments, and institutions throughout the world. As IP Counsel, Patricia is responsible for protecting and enforcing Learn.com's intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. Prior to joining Learn.com, Patricia practiced as an attorney for the law firms of Brinkley, McNerney, Morgan, Solomon & Tatum LLP and Becker & Poliakoff, P.A.. Patricia holds a degree in Chemistry and prior to specializing in Intellectual Property, she held several positions in the pharmaceutical field, including serving as a Quality Manager for a pharmaceutical company as well as a Research Scientist and a Regulatory Affairs Associate.

Peggy Nordeen
Marketing, Public Relations, Internet

Peggy Nordeen is President of Starmark International. Peggy oversees the agency's marketing strategies, new business development, and planning and data analysis, while also managing the travel and hospitality account services team. Peggy co-founded Starmark, "a full service advertising agency," in Chicago in 1978, and sold it in 1994. Peggy and her partner reopened Starmark International in Fort Lauderdale in 1998, with a young software developer as a partner to address the agency's new technology-driven goals. Peggy is a graduate of the University of Iowa, School of Communications.

Mel Rothberg, MBA

Mel Rothberg is presently Chairman of BioFlorida's South Florida Bioscience Consortium. He has medical device and biopharmaceutical experience in all areas of an enterprise including business development, operations, and corporate development. He graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Chemical Engineering degree and has an MBA from Nova Southeastern University. He is a member of the Florida International University Biomedical Engineering Advisory Board and Nova Southeastern University School of Dentistry Board of Councilors.
